  • UAE Labour Law got revised in February 2022.
  • Federal Decree Law No 20 of 2023 amends certain provisions of Federal Decree Law No 33 of 2021. It is about regulation of Employment Relationships.
  • Federal Decree Law No 9 of 2022 which is about Domestic Workers.

  • UAE allows Muslim and Non-Muslim Couples to manage their domestic matters in UAE e.g. Marriage, Divorce, Alimony, Custody of Children, Distribution of Assets.
  • Abu Dhabi issued a new Law in 2021, and Law is No. 14 of 2021 on the Civil Marriage and in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

UAE Constitution was adopted in 1996. Before that it was a temporary constitution implemented to run the country. UAE Constitution explains its rules of UAE Politics and Constitution. It has 152 articles. It explains federal legislation and authorities.
