UK Court Rulings Enforced in Dubai

It’s a very useful step taken last year, on 13 September 2022, and a great addition to DUBAI and UAE judicial system. UAE government has directed the UAE courts to start enforcing the judgements from British Courts. Let’s throw light on this rule and very useful addition in UAE Law.

It has increased the status of DUBAI as a global city and UAE as a global country and business place. Now Civil Judgements from British Courts can be enforced in DUBAI Courts. Though there has been no formal treaty between, UAE and UK Courts or Governments, this is a historical achievement, where now, DUBAI Courts or UAE Courts have accepted the enforcement of English Court Judgements.

MOJ (Ministry of Justice) confirms this historical step and now the verdicts can be enforced in UAE.
